We were pleased to receive a couple from the U.S. that came to hunt doves. They took advantage of the Black Friday special that we had launched back in 2013. These two great hunters are Phyllis and Michael Darr.
To our surprise Phyllis enjoyed hunting doves as much as her husband Michael. They are very passionate dove hunters and it’s their second time visiting El Cortijo. They had a 3 day-dove hunting package. Michael managed to bring down 2823 pigeons and Phyllis shot a total of 1141 birds.
We hope to see them again next year. It really is great to see a couple united by the passion of dove hunting.
I loved this hunt from the moment I stepped off the plane, everything was excellent from the beggining to the end. If I ever get to come back I would request the same bird boy, Juan.

This was the trip of a lifetime. Excellent food, great service. This was our second trip but the service seems to get better every time. I will definitely be back.
