In early March, one of the best months for dove hunting, two groups of English hunters from the north of the United Kingdom arrived in Argentina. The first group consisted of nine people, followed a few days later by another group of 11. Some of them had already experienced hunting with SyC Sporting in previous years and were eager to return.

They landed early at Córdoba airport, allowing them to enjoy a typical barbecue lunch before changing and setting out on their first day of hunting.

Upon arriving at the field, the sky seemed to move with the incessant flight of doves. No sooner had they settled in than the shots began to ring out. They all achieved impressive numbers, but two of them, William and Thomas, took their passion to the extreme: each fired 4,000 rounds in a single day. That night, back at the exclusive hunting lodge where they were staying, amid laughter and toasts, William showed off his shoulder, reddened from the intensity of the day. “Now that’s dedication!” he joked, as his friends poured him another glass of Malbec to ease the pain.

The nights at the lodge were as memorable as the hunting days. They enjoyed perfectly cooked barbecues, accompanied by exceptional wines, while sharing anecdotes, jokes, and promises to return next year.
